Overview
Ninety-two rooms on the eastern rim, which matters for one operational reason: Sopa has a private descent road on its side of the crater. While the western lodges queue at Seneto, you are already down.
The rooms are dated and the building is a 1970s block. Guests come for the sunrise over the crater from bed, and for that twenty-minute head start.
